Once your role is clearly defined by your producer/director, please take a mental note of the task at hand and assess how you can be as efficient as possible in that lane. Speak with other departments that you need to speak with, come to set organized and ready to roll, always let us know if there are any issues if you are unable to complete a certain task within your role so we may assign that task to someone else on set. We want everyone to be able to work as efficiently as possible and still have fun with what they are doing. If you feel overwhelmed with anything, please let us know so we may find some extra help to ensure everything in your department is done correctly and on time.
how we operate:
Enlighten is a growing production company that is heavily dedicated to the art and the skill of filmmaking. We love every aspect of film, from the storyboard all the way to the edit room, we take pride in what we create and are willing to do whatever it takes to get the shots we need to tell the story we want to tell. We're driven, passionate, and dedicated to the hustle, and we want you to be also. Sets might get fast paced and hectic, and we want to ensure that you're able to pull through on a tight production schedule if the time ever comes.
We want our sets to have a productive, fast, and fun vibe no matter who we're working with or the circumstances of the shoot. If things are positive and people are happy, it allows us all to operate at our maximum capacity and stay creative, which is ultimately the name of the game here. We will be relying on you to let us know if you notice any unusual/unwanted behavior that might happen to you or a coworker. Please notify someone from the Enlighten team immediately if an issue ever arises so we can handle it before it gets out of control.
All forms of payment will be sent out within three - five business days after the last day of production. Methods of payment can include:
- Written Check (We can mail it or you can pick it up from our office during normal business hours)
In the event that you are to be reimbursed for any expense that may have come from your pocket, that payment will come along in addition to your initial pay agreed upon that is to be sent out three - five business days after the last day of production.
Generally, we aren't able to confirm a concrete call time until we chat with all cast and crew members to assess everyones current schedule for the day of production. At the latest, you will receive a call sheet one week in advance prior to shoot with exact call times and locations for each scene.
