how we operate:
Enlighten is a growing production company that is heavily dedicated to the art and the skill of filmmaking. We love every aspect of film, from the storyboard all the way to the edit room, we take pride in what we create and are willing to do whatever it takes to get the shots we need to tell the story we want to tell. We're driven, passionate, and dedicated to the hustle, and we want you to be also. Sets might get fast paced and hectic, and we want to ensure that you're able to pull through on a tight production schedule if the time ever comes. Please let us know what you need to feel comfortable to operate at your maximum potential and we will handle it for you. For example, If you feel you work best with a belly full of Doritos, please let us know what kind you prefer and how many bags you need. We want to make sure this ride is as smooth as possible for everyone involved.
We want our sets to have a productive, fast, and fun vibe no matter who we're working with or the circumstances of the shoot. If things are positive and people are happy, it allows us all to operate at our maximum capacity and stay creative, which is ultimately the name of the game here. Please notify someone from the Enlighten team if you notice any unusual behavior from other cast members or crew members so we can reprimand the situation as soon as possible. The last thing we want is for anyone to feel uncomfortable or out of place on a set that is supposed to be fun and energetic.
All forms of payment will be sent out within three-five business days after the last day of production. Methods of payment can include:
- Written Check (We can mail it or you can pick it up from our office during normal business hours)
Generally, we aren't able to confirm a concrete call time until we chat with all cast and crew members to assess everyones current schedule for the day of production. At the latest, you will receive a call sheet one week in advance prior to shoot with exact call times and locations for each scene.
We will be relying on you to get yourself to and from each location each day. Please notify someone from the Enlighten team if this poses an issue for you so we may address ways to work around it.
A break is given to cast and crew every six hours on set after call time begins. This break will be a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of one hour. Individual breaks are allowed between takes upon approval of the director/producer on set.
If you've read over everything above, please let us know!
